Question what gaskets to use for porting?

what gaskets are you guys using to port your heads to? are there any that are bigger than stock?

I went over to the Chevy dealer and got a pair of GM gaskets. Surprisingly the ports on the gasket were close to the size of the ports on the intake manifold. There is a lot of material to take off the ports on the heads though

I'd use the one you're going to run.. size isnt much of an issue, it'll likely be large enough to flow 80+cfm more than your heads ever will

I assume your talking about match porting. I used the Fel-Pro gaskets. They showed a lot to be removed.
