What happens when you disconnect the front O2 sensors?
I'm on the middle of my header install, and want to fire the car up after the y-pipe is installed. The problem is that I'm waiting on one front O2 extension. It will be here in a couple of days, but I just want to hear the car after the headers and Y-pipe are connected. I might disconnect both front O2's and fire the car up for a minute.
Does it just go to speed density or something?
Will it cause any harm if I start it for a minute or so?

i wont hurt anyhting becuase the o2s have to get to a certian temp and if they are not there the pcm will not get a temp reading and will saty in open loop till the o2s are returned. it may run rich but it will not hurt anyhting.

If you disconnect the front o2 sensors, the car will set a code and it will stay in open loop all the time. (open loop is the period before complete warm up during which the car ignores the o2s..)
You won't do any damage and you can even drive it if you want. The code will go away as soon as you reconnect the sesnors.
