I've had Hooker LT on for 3yrs. There great just the ceramic coating looks like rust is coming thru but I guess thats comes with age. MY point for this posting is
when you install the slip fit for #1 smear some high temp RTV with your finger on the inside and outside were they will meet. When you slide it in bolt it up before the RTV sets up. Don't wipe the excess RTV off ,looks better. Mine have never leaked. I't will still pull out if you ever need to remove the headers. BTW RTV is silicone.
