what kind of power / times should I expect?
I am finally coming into posession of a 97 ws6. It is REEEEl clean and has 32k miles on it. It runs like brand new! I have been researching for quite a while, and my goal is to have a super fast car that is really fun on the street, and still be able to go to the strip and tear it up a couple of times a month. Driveability will be very important as well as I will drive the car every day the weather permits:
Stock block / rotating assembly
LE3 heads / cam / ported intake
kooks long tube headers
58mm monoblade TB
borla catback
Spec III clutch
Pro 5.0 shifter
widen stock ws6 wheels to 17x10 and a 315 35 17 DR
I realize the rear end is not going to live too long if I hook well at the strip, but with a decent launch, (1.7 60ft) What kind of times are people running with this setup? How is the driveability with the LE3 setup? Any tips? Thanks
