Are you asking about "top speed" of the vehicle, or trap speed at the track?

Look at the one fourth from the bottom, titled: RPM and MPH Calculation

For my particular combo, I'm good for 132mph in 4th gear @ my 7000rpm shiftpoints. However, everyone's combo will slightly differ

Bowling's Vehicle MPH Calculator
Input Parameters Are the Following:

* Differential Gear = 4.11 to 1
* Transmission Gear = 1.00 to 1
* Tire Diameter (Inches) = 28.00
* Engine RPM = 5800

Computation Results:
# Computed Vehicle MPH is 118

118 in 4th gear at 5800 rpm

use this calculator https://www.camaroz28.com/services/calcs/rpmmph.shtml

Edit: You probably have 26" tires.

In my car with 5800rpm shift points I'm just bouncing off the rev limiter right after I cross the traps in 4th gear.

edit: That's about 106, 107mph.

our cars do 155 from the factory, with the 4.11 gear you only do 135,140. Thats if you around the factory power level. If you would have a 400rwhp car it would be different.

Since I don't want to condone this behavior, I'll only speak "hypothetically"...

Assuming I tried to do this, I have had no problem getting up to 140 with my set up. And no, that was not the end of the line either. I was in 5th gear, and had plenty of power to continue. I don't think it will have any substantial decrease in top speed. 155 mph is usually done at redline in 5th gear. Having the higher numerical gear simply allows you to use 6th gear and be in the sweet spot of the rpm band.

So, to answer, at least 140...probably 145...and maybe even 150+.

But since I've never done this I don't know for sure.

FYI - please keep this kind of driving reserved for the track.

With bolt ons and 3.89's on a 26" tire i was going 155 in 5th at about 5900 RPM's, i would have kept going and tried 6th but i had to chill out and pass a truck lol
