What Next????

i dont know what order to do my mods in. my 97 SS is stock right now except for a flomaster muffler. i'm buying long tubes and im going to do true duals with sidepipes. what do i do after that? 58mm throttle body, NOS, underdrive pulleys, whats a good next mod? i know i'll need a ported intake for the 58mm. my car is already lowered and i have aftermarket wheels.

personally if i had about 2 grand, i would port the heads, cc306 cam, 1.6 rr's, valve springs, and the duals, maybe a little suspension if you had some $ left over

If you've got an auto, definitely go w/ a stall. Best mod you can do other than the jug.

After headers you might have a hard time hooking so you might want to look at getting LCAs and relocation brackets.

I know a guy with the bext prices on these.

Otherwise you can go for more top end and get 1.6 rockers and new LT4 valve springs.

$400 or so for a converter. You'll also need a tranny cooler for about $100. Expect to drop .3-.5 in the quarter too.

heads

what would a set of ported heads cost me? would it be cheaper to port mine or sell mine and buy ported ones? what about a crank. if i'm pulling the motor to put in a cam, might as well put in a crank right?

do they sell a kit with everything to make a LT4, or am i better off buying all the pieces and get more power than a LT4.?

i'm going to have money after july, till then i have to save for a trip and pay my car payments.
