Sounds like it is gonna cost me a can or two of the paint, a can of primer, a can of nice cleaner for the initial clean and some wire brushes. About $30-$40 but I bet it makes the exhaust last alot longer, my last flowmaster rusted through the back pipe where it bends in about 2.5 years.

I have used VHT rather successfully also.. cure it when u fire it up..

Ok, dont use this paint. I put my headers on today, all painted white and pretty. 20 minutes of the engine running they are peeling off everywhere. I completely sanded and washed the headers before painting too.
