Question What part of a Cam's design helps with throttle response?

Just curious. I've heard that the XE grinds are good for throttle response, and it got me thinking (I know, that's dangerous)

Is it due to the steep ramp on the lobes, allowing the intake valve to open quickly to max lift?

Or does it have something to do with the overlap area being less area with an equal LSA as other cams, again due to the XE grind?

Dan
