Check all the fluids: oil, ATF, brake, power steering, windshield, radiator, check air pressure in tires and make sure spare has air in it. If you car normally runs ok, you should be fine.

Just gas and a cell phone Seriously tho, why are you worried? These cars are very reliable and I take mine on numerous 4-5 hour trips without a problem.

im mainly "worried" since my car has no tops(im going on the trip to pick them up) and Im gonna be driving on a freeway that goes through the middle of no where. Id hate to get stranded in the muiddle of no where in the rain or something

Maybe you should buy a small tarp just in case and if you don't need it, you can take it back when you get home. Just a thought. May help ease your uneasiness about the trip.

I drove my car from south Florida to Long Island, NY without any problems (19+ hours, no stopping cept gas)

just bring a cell phone, and like mentioned before, spray the front end with WD-40, or PAM cooking spray if you'd like , and like the other guy said just check all the fluids and tire pressure etc.

This is a great idea. It's not really a bad drive. Straight as an arrow. I make it home 380 miles from San Fran in 4.5-5 hrs. When in doubt gas up and pee. Or rent mine for the trip.

just drive it slow, 85 MPH. hit the cruise control, and you'll be set
