What is a safe rev limiter w/stock lifters?
What do you guys think would be a safe redline for stock lifters with 92k on them?
I am putting in a 224/230 cam with new valve train other than lifters and it makes power up to 6100, so I was wondering what a safe RPM was to set it at when I get the reprogram.
Thanks guys

I'll say this, reusing stock lifters are like opti's... You'll never know when they go. Some setups they may last and some simply don't. Definitely take a good look at them before reinstalling them.

I would worry more about the stock valve springs if your still using them. The stock lifters will be fine to 6100 to 6500 RPM as long as you don't run in that range for an extended periods and have the lifters pump up on you.
