Do a search on LTCC Not being a smart *** here, seriously, there're a few folks on here with it. As for the $400, it'll cost you more than that when it's all said and done (LS1 coils, wires, mounting apparatus). Tough call as for whether it's worth it. I'd read up on all the info on this board then decide.

So your saying this kit does not come with everything I would need, it claims to come with the coils though.

Actually from their site: "The price is $399 for the box and harness."

And: "It uses 8 LS1 coil packs which you would also have to purchase along with some other parts."

No coils included.

It will probably wind up around $600+ if you get brand new coils. Add to that the price of new wires, plus whatever you come up with as far as a mounting bracket..

Like jkipp84 said, you only get the brains and a harness. Everything else is extra and at whatever price you can find.

its pretty clear if you do a search. Replaces high res opti pulse as well as adding direct fire to your ignition system. Those are only a few reasons....

another advantage is it makes it easier to find a miss, since u dont have to look at the opti way the hell down, u can just check the coils and wires with very easy access. or at least thats how it if for the ls1's

Scoobysnack, the steering wheel is painted with upholstery paint. It sounds cheap but it has been painted for almost 2 years now. Since their is very little flex in the wheel it doesnt crack I havent had any scratch problems. It looks great in person also. Just tape it off with electrical tape, and be sure to use alot of newspapers so you dont get any overspray. The dash is painted also. The white Trans Am doors and the rear seats are real leather.

It looks very detailed.... I noticed that you have the threads black. Did you do that by hand or unwrap it. From the pictures it looks 2nd2none quality......

If I could afford the 700 - 800 total cost right now I'd do it in a heartbeat. The only weak point of the LT1 is the opti ignition.
