What timing chain, water pump on 96

my cam is on the way, now i need to get all of the other pieces together to put it in. Ive read a lot about what chains work and what dont, just need some solid advice. I dont mind doing an electric waterpump, but are they worth it and if so, which one is best? If i do go electric, what chain is the best. Ive heard of some people running into problems on true double rollers on 96 and 97 models, any truth to this. Any and all opinions appreciated.

I have the GMPP extreme duty timing set. It's a roller, but not double. It is stronger than the stock setup and I've had no problems.

I have a friend who put an electric water pump in his '97 Anniv. SS and he didn't like it. His temps were actually higher than a stock pump. If you drive the car on the street alot, stick with the stocker.
