what valve springs and roller rockers to use
hey guys how it going. i have a 94 z28 camaro. Dont have alot done at the moment. 10.5 mm plug wires, drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads, Front strut bar, Cold Air Intake, Freshly rebuilt tranny with shift kit, new pacesetter long tube headers and y pipe with magna flow cat back(not installed yet). Im looking to put a cam in it. I have asked around and i have been pointed to the lt4 hot cam. Im not looking for a big cam, as this car will still be a normal driver. but what roller rockers and valve springs should i use with it. also im not looking to spend a **** ton of money. any pointers would be great. thanks guys.

Re: what valve springs and roller rockers to use
well if your not looking to spend much i think the LT4 springs will handle the LT4 hotcam, ...i think maybe someone can answer that
as far as rockers go you got a lot of options;
crane
compcams
scorpion
id go with the 1.6 ratio

Re: what valve springs and roller rockers to use
ok thanks guys, im going to purchase this kit, what are roller tappets? on that site it says those are not included! also, what gear ratio do i have, i changed the fluid today in my differential and the big gear says 15:41. what does that come out to? also, what are some other pretty easy/cheaper ways to add horse power. Im not looking to do a wet kit. this car is too nice to put it thru that. any other idea would be great, suspension ect. remember will still be a daily driver!. thanks

Re: what valve springs and roller rockers to use
"Roller tappets" are the roller lifters. They are not included. Stockers work fine.
41/15 = 2.73
Your RPO build tag should indicate GU2. That is the ratio supplied with the base V8 automatics. To get the 3.23 rear axle ratio, it had to be ordered with the GU5 "performance rear axle".
Time to add a "signature".

Go to the red task bar at the top of every page. Left click on "UserCP". On the drop-down, left click on "Edit Signature". Enter your signature info on the "Edit Signature" screen that appears. At the bottom click "Preview" to verify it appears as you want it, then click "save".
I generally recommend you show - year, model, engine, trans and any major modifications. Links to photos can be included (but not the photos themselves). Unfortunately, the code for the links eats up a lot of the available character limit.

Suspension is never a bad choice along with subframe connectors. One really nice thing you can do is install some dynamat on the inside too. And there's always a healthy stall converter to help get the car moving.
