Alright it looks like I'll be getting the hi-techs again.

Trickflow may make the Summit ones but to Summits specs. There has to be a reason they are cheaper. Quality control and variances may not be as good either. Sometimes they are exactly the same part but not always. When its going inside a $5k motor I'd spend the extra. If it wasn't going to damage anything else if it fails then get the economy part if you wish. JMO

when you look at the specs on Summit parts they look no different than brand name parts. Those pushrods are made just the same way as Trickflows and have the wall of .08, both from 4130 Chromoly, so how can they be worse than the Trickflows?

Maybe the parts are the exact same, but the mark up on Summits aren't as much. Who knows, but I've never had problems with them.

So then the Summit ones are in fact Trickflow made by Comp Cams? Then one could buy the Summit brand and get the same exact product for cheaper, only difference being the name on the side? If that's the case, I will save about 45 bucks!

I very highly doubt the trickflow and summits are as good as the comp hi-techs.

Comp doesn't make them either, I'm sure Trend or someone like that makes them for Comp, Summit and Trickflow.

Only really good way to tell is get one of each in hand and measure them and look them over. I do that a lot with things like valvesprings etc.. to get a feel for the construction and dimensions off of the parts.

Well I emailed both trickflow and TEA and their pushrods are indeed seemless, they are the same exact pushrods as the Comp hi-techs made by the same place Trend. Just thought I'de let everyone know a good way to save $60.

So....that mean the summit ones are just as good. I think some of these places some big markup on some stuff because of the brand name.
