Here's the link to the SLP 2OTL with cutout. It sounds good from inside the car, but I bet it sounds totally different outside.

I won't let anyone drive my car, so I'm SOL for getting an outside sense of the sound.... I guess I'll have to take everyone's word, or let someone drive it .... Right.....

That sound clip sounds great. I think the problem is that normal computer speakers, even with a small subwoofer, can't put out the bass level that a cat-back system puts out in real life. That may be why my Hooker catback, in person, sounds deeper than that sound clip of the TOTL with cutout. I have MAC mids, highflow cat, and Hooker catback.

It sound VERY similar to your soundclip though, with a little more bass.

Again, it sounded great. I don't think I could choosen a favorite between the two.

As soon as I get a firewire card, I'll load up sound clips of mine. I have clips of my stock exhaust, so that you can set the volume and bass levels so that it sounds right on your computer. Most people know what a stock exhaust sounds like, so they can set the computer to sound correct on that sound clip. Then play the Hooker clip with the same setting. I need to get that firewire card first though.

Dan

Yea, good point... my sub definetly doesnt shake my desk like my exhaust shakes my car

Oh, and when I close the cutout, my exhaust is pretty much all bass except maybe in excess of 4000 rpm.

edit: just remembered I have a vid of it closed too... its not as high quality though....

I wish I could say the same thing. I have some break-up every so often and I can't seem to pinpoint it. I have a few suspects in mind though. The obvious ones like opti and coil have been eliminated. Hopefully my header swap will solve most of the problem. I have a huge leak on the passenger side. Freakin Jet-Hot and their MAC supplier has my blood boiling....
