You put both of your hands above your head and move them up and down, more than .100". But I believe he is talking about raising the roof of cylinder heads. Although I know nothing about how to port, I could not resist the urge to post somthing funny.

Next time be a little bit more specific on what your talking about. Other than talking about putting your hands over your head i had no idea on what you were talking about.

Hey Marshall....I knew what you were talking about. Don't feel bad. I just finished porting and polishing my heads after 49 hours of work. Took about 8 hours a week for like 6 weeks. Anyway as for the roof.....I didn't measur it because ..well I don't know about yours but mine weren't the same. I just made sure I flattened both out to the bowl. Went by feel and eyes. Im not a pro by no means. But spent a lot of time researching and reading Phills, Lloyds, Vince and Johns tips. Gimme your email and I'll send ya some pics. But you wanna raise it a lil and flatten it out so it makes a good transition to the bowl. I went by the idea that its better to remove less than more. As Phil I think said. Better to be safe than turn them into doorstops.

It is a hogans intake for 18* heads. I got it third hand. Never been ran. It has a TPiS and More performance TB plate on the Modified Mono blade.

The heads should be here this week Intake ports are raised 1.220 inches about the deck. I will try and snap some pics of a LT1,LT4 and 18* gasket overlayed tonight to share.

When I raised the roof on all my stuff I measured each port to make sure they were all as close as possible
