Where is the best place on the body to jack up your f-body??

I have been using the place behind where it says "do not jack here" and was wondering if that was a safe place to put my car on blocks? I just couldnt see anyplace else.

You can jack on the subframe just forward of the rear control arms, or on the subframe connectors themselves if you have some installed.

It's OK to jack on the plastic pads BEHIND the "do not jack here". That is referring to the body panel itself.

Dont use the plastic .....As long as your on the frame rail your ok....sounds like you are...its pretty obvious if you look under there. One other thing...dont use blocks...get a good set of jack stands.

The plastic jack points are meant for jacking. The do not jack here is meant for the body plates as noted above.

I jack at the two points, place jack stands just a few inches behind the plastic jack points. If i need to jack the rear, i lift the diff, and place stands on the frame just infront of the rear tires infront of the joint (they fit perfectly where the notch is).
