where can I buy the weather stripping that goes on the rear hatch window ?

The former owner must of had the rear hatch window replaced at one time and they never installed the weatherstrip around the entire glass. The weatherstrip I need is the one that atttaches to the glass itself.
Does anyone know of a place to order it ?
Thanks

the one that goes on the top part of the glass, or between the bottom of the glass and the decklid?
the one i have on top of the glass isn't even on
it just sits below it on the body and i haven't had a problem with it leaking or anything

The earlier cars only had the hard plastic weather stripping around the bottom. Later cars came with a peice that went all the way around the hatch.

I thought my car was missing weatherstripping when I first got it too.

$20 is going to break your wallet?

jaytone, the thread link posted should answer the question and I also replied to your post at Project Transam.

Re: where can I buy the weather stripping that goes on the rear hatch window ?

Yeah, I dont have the weather stripping on the top part of the glass. It is on the left, bottom and right side, but not the top. It looks like it should be there because there is a big (at least looks big to me) gap between the top of the glass and the roof line.
Also, the glue has oozed out somewhat from the weather stripping that is on there and has hardened. I had to take a razor knife to scrape off it off.
So, is everyone saying that there is not suppose to be weather stripping at the top and that I should leave it alone ?
Thanks

The new piece is one continuous length that goes around the complete window. No seams, no ooze. It comes with sealant already applied to the piece. A few years ago there were lots of threads about this piece, because of all the glue that would ooze out. The threads have seemed to diminish as the glue has oozed away.

$20.00 who's selling them for twenty I'll take it. The going rate around here was $75.00 - $110.00

$20 is what Dal or Jason sells them for. That's dealer wholesale.

The sealant on the new piece is only on the inside channel where it will only contact the side edge of the window when pressed in place.

speaking of which, does anyone know if the rear hatch bouncing (squeeking) can be stopped by putting foam along the back edge of the hatch (back by the lock and 2 supports)
