Where did you put your Cut Out???

Where did you put your Cut Out???

K guys...did a search and there is too much crap. Anyway, I got the stuff below and wanted to know where ou guys put yours. If it goes on my cat back it will be under the center of the car. Is that normal???? That gotta suck to put on and take off.

some people put it by the rear wheel. id suggest where the cat goes, should produce a nice scavaging effect.

What cat? Anyway...I have a 97 that had dual catz. My pipe dont merge until it bends towards the torque arm.

mine is just before the over axle bend. IMO that's the best spot.

Mine are located under the rear passenger seat. It rattles the interior a bit, but it's not as bad as having it where the cat goes.

I have mine where the cat used to be. It does vibrate some.

I have single cat SLP's with their y-pipe and have an ORP/Cutout that mounts where the single cat would. It's very easy to access, it points out the passenger side. I mainly only open it up at the track but it only takes about 15 seconds or so to open it up. Plus I have a single cat that I can swap back in if I needed to for emmissions (which I dont anymore). Why did you make a custom y, did you not get one with your headers?

If you still have your stock cat/y pipe then the only place it will fit is right after the cat...

I put mine in my MAC off-road pipe. It's extremely easy to get to...It only takes about 3 minutes to uncap (manually).
