Go with a GM opti from Dal or Jason Cromer. Theres nothing wrong with them. But since it looks like youre willing to spend some money for something "better". Take a look at the LTCC. It will take some time to get in.. basically depends on how fast you can collect the other necessary parts but I believe its will worth it. What it allows you to do is run 8 LS1 coils off of the optispark. The opti is still used to fire the coils and injectors but no spark energy runs through it. If you really want to increase the life of the opti then you need to crack it open and remove the rotor with this system. Usually high power motor can spin the rotor so fast it breaks... just not designed for the added stress is all I can come up with for that problem. Anyway thats just another option you may not have heard of yet and in my opinion its the best alternative out there by far.

Dynotech recently sold the complete Dynaspark product line to a small company.
That small company is not ready for questions yet.
They are still getting their system ready, but promise good results.
It is my understanding that Dynotech will still stand by any warranties.
But, out of warranty and new sales will be handled by the new company.

Maybe a price reduction is coming to be competitive with the MSD.
