whining engine

anybodys lt1 whine when they get on it? It almost sounds like theres a blower on the car.

Remove the belt and then rev it up. If the whine goes away, its either the alt, ac comp, ps pump, or a bad belt. If the whine is still there, more diagnosis will be needed.

when i got my hood popped, and i rev it, my alt. sounds like a blower, but im not having any problems with it and the bearings seem to be alright still
