What do you think about this gauge. It's prob used more for forced induction. On the other hand it can tell you when your runnin @ your coolest temp.

Was there supposed to be a link

The LT1 has an intake air temp sensor; it mounts in the intake elbow and helps the computer determine your ignition timing. A Scanmaster lets you display all the computer parameters, including your intake temps. I have one and display my intake temps on a regular basis as a supercharger generates intake heat.

What temp does the intake usually run?
I prob couldn't utalize the gauge since I don't run forced induction.
Do you know anything about the air pressure gauge.

Re: Who here is using an Intake temp gauge

You engine is pulling ambient air temp in. There is a small temperature gain in the intake ducting, becaus of the under hood heat. The stock sensor is in the intake elbow between the MAF sensor and throttle body. It will generally show a higher temperature than the actual inlet air temp, because it tends to heat soak. Many people relocate the IAT sensor to the inlet air filter, to eliminate the heat soak.

There's not a whole lot you can do to change IAT, so having a full time indication would seem sort of pointless. Using a scan tool is a far better approach on some of these things.... check out my online ScanMaster writeup to see what you can look at, and what it means:
