I've had the K&N, SLP and Lingenfelter all on ABS cars, how come you said that only a custom one will fit?

Re: Why is the Lingenfelter SuperTube so cheap?
my car doesnt have the ABS and it fits all of them. the SLP and the custom fit in the ABS unit because SLP engineered the unit to be put on the "1le" cars of '93...which is why its such a pain to install on the MAF cars...it was designed to fit directly to the elbow via a 3"intermediate pipe. the MAF will get in the way, but with a rubber 3" pipe and some muscle it slides on the intake easily.
the K&N didnt fit the 95 car, neither did the moroso unit and the 95 car had ABS. the cone on the K&N & moroso was pushed by the ABS unit so badly that they wouldnt stay connected to the unit.
the SLP filters are easy to install, after the filterless unit is installed from the top, open the flappy thing under the car, use alcohol on the 2.5" tips of the intake and then the filters to remove the oil...then slide them on and tighten down with a mini-rachet with a 1/4"
