Will 94-95 style BBK shorties AND y-pipe kit work on my 97 dual cat car?
I found this kit in summit for real cheap and the shorties come with an offroad y-pipe. The only prob is that they are listed for 94-95 style cars since i guess they are single cat. Would i just have to lengthen my I pipe?? Will everything like AIR and EGR all bolt right up, its basically the same setup right???

It would work just fine but you would have to get a cat and modify the pipe behind it to work with the new single cat.
This is actually a common swap on the dual cat cars as the stock set up sucks and your header choices are slim.

The secondary O2 sensors may not like the single cat. You can try mounting them behind it and see if they work correctly. If you don't feel like playing that game, you can always pick up a set of O2 sims from one of the sponsors. You could probably get a good deal on the headers from the sponsors too. I believe one of them is running a GP on headers/exhaust items for a few more days.
