Will my rear hold with 3:73 and 2800 stall?

I am going to order my stuff this weekend do you all think i will have a problem with the rear holding up?

I will be getting the3:73 gear package from Thunder
BFG Drag Radials 16"
and i am looking for a used stall around 2800-3000
and an ajustable Tq Arm

I also have LCA's, SLP Panhard bar, LT headers. Undrive pullies, CAI

Should i go with lower gear?

Is your car an auto or M6. A auto will last longer but if your cars a stick its like a timebomb. It will happen its just a matter of when.

Just no 6000 rpm dumps and you should be fine for a while.

autos are easier on the rearend than manuals. you might break it you might not, its a crap shoot.
i plan to test my rear out this season.
2800 stall/3.73/et streets
with decent traction and 1.6.-1.7 sixty foot. i hope to touch 11's.
i will let you know how it holds up.

Drag Radials spin just enough to avoid an explosion....been running on mine for 9 years and only 1 rebuild from the limited slip failing...no breakage...3.42s might be better, however, you'll have a hell of a time controlling traction with 3.73s and BFG DRs...the 4L60E has a 3.06 first gear, remember...

I have 3.73's and the 2800 Vig Stall. However I am on street tires and don't know what traction is . I am looking into a set of etstreets or drag radials. My mods are listed in the Sigs + BMR LCA's. I think I will be alright with my mods launching off idle or maybe a 1500rpm launch.

.

I dont think i will ever go to the track (a least for a few years)
How ever i am VERY "abusive" on the road and i drive every day,

The only Qrt. Mile passes will be at the local street races maybe like 10 runs a night twice a month.

My rear is gonna get a workout too. Close to 400 RWHP, hopefully, 3000 stall, Comp T/A's, and 3:73's. Should be fun once everything is done.

With my old setup i saw 2.1 60 foot with drag radials which is ****ty but i bolted slicks on and saw a 2.08 60foot.. This spring will be the big test i am leaving with the new setup and 150 shot of NX just to see how well these ****ty rearends hold up... I will take the car up on a trailer though..
