Window Sill disconnected

The outside rubber piece on my driver side window is partially disconnected from the car. So when the window goes up it pulls the rubber piece with it about 2 inches. It's flimsy enough that i can see the metal prongs that are supposed to hold it still...but i cannot figure out how they are supposed to work. I think there is about 3 of the prongs that are disconnected. What do i do?
Thanks
Bill

The metal pieces are merely a friction fit on the top of the door. You might need to take it all the way off and see if any are bent and need to be pinched in a little or you might need to replace the seal.
