Wire harness needs replaced, any suggestions where to get one?

I have a 1995 Z28 and after few hundred worth of diagnostics was told the engine wire harness needs repaired/replaced and was looking at more what I paid for the car. Need any suggestions on where I can locate one and that is reasonable besides ebay. Im limited and cant afford to waste any more time with it and hoping is the solution.

Thanks

A good mechanic or someone handy with a multimeter should be able to locate the problem with the wiring harness you have - if that even is the problem. I'd be curious as to why whoever told you the harness was bad. If something didn't function because the harness was bad it would stand to reason that it would be easy to track down the fault in the harness.

Yeah. Unless your harness has been through a fire, meltdown from a short or eaten by varmints, you should just be able to repair any damage. When you lay it all out, there isn't much to it.

Re: Wire harness needs replaced, any suggestions where to get one?

The stupid dealership said it needed repair or replaced. They said:

" Engine Harness damage...Right bank H02 sensor circuit failure reads 1054 mV at all times. Drives right bank injector pulse width low causing engine right bank to go into lean misfire. Engine harness wire case stripped, wires shorting "

Roommate checked the voltage of the wires and the only one that was out of range is the map sensor. The ones to the injectors were in range which dealership said the wiring was causing injectors not to work correctly on right bank. Payed 150 for a diagnostic and thats what hey said, to finish the diagnostic it would be another 300 :/ and like 1000-2000 to repair.
Taking a chance they are wrong and if I can find an affordable harness I can get it installed for 250 and not take the chance of finding someone to repair it incase there might issues more into harness they didn't look at.

Cant afford and done spending money on more diagnostics and not getting any farther....What should I do?
