Would 3 in. true duals be overkill for my setup?
With the mods in my sig, would 3in. be overkilll? In years to come I would like to do a larger cam and ported heads, but for now its stock heads with hotcam. I guess Im mainly looking to see if 3in. would hurt me a bit vs. say 2.5? I plan on using bullets on each side with a dump before the axle. Thanks

Do you plan on significantly more mods? As said above, if you're not planning on running a very healthy stroker engine or a power adder, I would just get 2.5". If you're planning on doing such things, it's your call whether or not you should run the bigger pipes now to plan ahead. At this power level you'll probably lose a little low-end by going with 3".

I dont know kmook... U know a lot more than me but my friend Dan put 590rwhp to the ground with a Heads/cam nitrous LS1.. He switched to true duals dumping at the axles and didnt gain any power..
but Come to think of it though Al put true duals on and he was in the 600rwhp range and gained 40 horses to the ground.... hmmm... I still think 400rwhp is to little to see benefits though.
