Would I lose power from this?
My friend is getting rid of his 3" duals soon and will sell them for around $200. It's a setup with a 3" X pipe with dynomax bullets dumping before the rear axle......would I lose power with this as opposed to a 2.5" dual setup on a mostly stock engine? I'm getting LTs soon and a cam afterwards.

Only a dyno would be able to tell exactly, however, seems like its a better then stock, and flows better, Im sure you would gain, however ive never heard of this set-up ..... Might just wanna save you money and do it right the first time !!! do your long tubes and cat back exhaust all at one time !

One word... loud. I know how hard it is to build a car at a young age. I rebuild my 77 Z28 at 17 and spent 8 months without transportation. As long as everything fits (and you can stand the noise), get the duals and enjoy.
