Thanks again guys, I called Comp Cams and spoke with a technician. He said they only make the 7808's in one length and its 7.195". So from my understanding some retailers must be rounding them up unless they bought a custom batch, which the tech said they dont usually sell custom sets to retailers. Either way he said its no biggie even if it is off by .005" Thanks for the good information everyone.

Interesting how the old ones were shorter than the new. You would figure if the stockers are supposed to be 7.200 they would be slightly longer. But as you said its probably from wear.

I would love to know the exact GM spec for the LT1 pushrod. Its like the other thread with combustion chamber sizes.
