xe 224/230 guys...

are you guys experiencing cam surge in first or second gear driving at low speeds such as in a parking lot etc.? it is a bit annoying. just wanted to know if it was just my car. and its not the car wanting to stall from too low of rpm's. i've experienced surging in turbo cars and it feels just like that.

I had just a hint of surging in 1st gear, but that was when I was first learning stick and I would occasionally bog the car down to about 900 rpm in parking lots. As long as you can keep it at around 1200 or so it should be ok.

right now my idle is set at 900-1000 rpm's and very rarely do i bog. i usually slip the clutch and keep the revs up, but around 1500 it'll buck and surge a little until i gas it and keep the revs around 2000

I also toss this question up in the Computer Programming section. There may be one thing that wasn't re-programmed. If you do find out, let us know on this tread too...
