XE230/236 and emissions

Can a good tuner make the XE230/236-114 pass emissions? Or, has anyone passed the snifter on the XE230/236?

wow, interesting. I didn't think a cam with such lift numbers would pass. I'm gonna definitely consider this cam now

Wow!! Obviously you won't pass without a cat. Hmmm, this brings new hope! Did you have a EGR? Also what headers, any other data, did you do any slight changes in tune, timing, temp, etc... Let me know please.

I have no emissions at all no egr, no cat. it will pass with a cat though. my friend passed with a cc306. just do a tune up before you go. Also my programming was done by pcmforless and i told him to run it fat and he did. so run it lean you'll make a clean getway.

! AIR. ! EGR....its not needed with the overlap. Hooker shorties with stock cat. Idle RPM 1000. No tuning changes other than increasing the rpm at idle from 900 to 1000. Temp was 195.

Yes...I have a 383, but it should pass in a properly tuned 350.
