Y Pipe Fitment Issues

I just got my Mac Headers installed and had some fitment issues with the y pipe. The gap between the two ends wasn't wide enough and it took a lot of muscle to get it to go on. My problem now is that there is an exhaust leak and it sounds like it is coming from the were the y pipe connects. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you correct the alignment problem? I was think about going to a local muffler shop and seeing if they could bend the ypipe back into shape.

Re: Y Pipe Fitment Issues

I had a similar problem with my Hooker shorties. The y pipe didn't fit so Î had to cut the pipe and have it spliced back together at the muffler shop. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/buds93...&.dnm=4ce7.jpg
