it misses and stumbles usually when warm. sometimes when its really cold its hard to start. I put an electric water pump on my car a few months ago and I know I got coolant on my opti. shortly after it ran like total crap. after a few days sitting it ran great. now the stumbling and misses have grown worse and worse. I am fairly sure its the opti.

any opinions?

also, I want to replace it with a GOOD one. I dont want a cheap one thats going to go back in a year or two because I dont feel like putting one in it as it is. Thanks

 

best bet is factory delco. others seem hit or miss.

Sounds like its the opti or could even be an o2 issue. I have a MSD opti , they are ok , however I have had to have MSD fix it once before for some friggin b.s . Honestly , it is a good unit but if I had to spend my $ on another opti , I would go back to reg. GM opti. Oh, it may even be your coil.But those are pretty easy to check. Good Luck

 

I didn't mention that my idle gets kind of rough sometimes and also when it misses/acts up, my tach has little jolts up and down
