zz409 track results
Went out to Infineon yesterday to tune my friends (Green Machine) cammed lt1. Its a 94z, 120k miles, zz409 cam (226 226 .555 .555 112) Stock heads, 2500 stall, 3:73 gears, and all the bolt ons and suspension, MT ET Drag Radials
First pass, no tuning it went 13.14 @ 103.2 with a 1.87 60 foot. 95°
Second pass, minor fueling and timing increase 13.00 @104.5 with a 1.80 60 foot.90° weather
Third Pass, leaned her out a bit more (AF 12.3-12.4 WOT) bit more timing 12.64@107.8 with a 1.74 60 foot. 88°
Unfortunately I was kicked off because the third run was already eliminations and I estimated a 12.80. She still needs to be leaned out a bit more, and we have no sign of knock retard yet. The shift points are still off, we hoping 12.00-12.20's once the tune is complete. Not too shaby huh?
