So, who's coming this year?

It's a Camaro but inside it's all Buick. Lol.
Now that the LS1's have been around and it's not going to be a million to do a turbo setup on I'm thinking of putting a single turbo LS1 on a claddingless Typhoon that I picked up. (boy it's rough) but somthing about a plain looking AWD SUV with kids in the back going deep in the single numbers sounds like fun.

Actually if it was a Buick it would be a recliner with a built in beer cooler that smokes the tires through the 1st 2 gears.

I kind of feel like a outsider to a extent when I go to some Buick events being the only Hybrid but get asked alot of questions.
I love the 82-92 bodystyle and the GN powerplant to run it. I've been down the small block/nitrous road in the past and it just isn't effecient enough of a setup to be driven daily.
Now I can get 20mpg be very quiet and run mid 10's on pump gas on a drag radial.
That's why Iv'e stuck with the little V6 and a turbo. I hope to run a 9.99.99 on pump gas once the air cools down and I feel comfortable turning the boost up a little bit
At the moment my turbo's a touch too big and the stall's a bit too low but those are thing's I'll change this winter to be able to launch right and not wait for boost at the line forever.
Looking forward to the event,
Scott~

Myself and my friend Chris who has a 87 Mustang with GN engine we did all the fab and paint work on that as well. He's got brakes and steering left before we go out for a drive but it's close!!!!
Pic's of his ride.
TurboBuick.com has more pic's and discriptions under "Hybrids" section... we moved the firewall back 3.5" Tubular K member/arms full cage double GN IC up front smoothed pipes that are built into the unibody ect ect.. neat car with ALOT of time and effort from both of us.
