Talking Honey, did you order something from Summit?

Oh yea. Got my spring order. A set of Centerline Telstar 4X15, and 8X15, a pair of ET Streets 26-10.5x15, B&M hammer shifter, B&M trans cooler, bunch of metal valve stems, Autometer mini tach and trans temp gague, trans dip stick tube, a stack of racing log books, and a yellow optima battery for Linda's pop-up camper. Quite a pile of boxes on my doorstep.

I'm so jelouse!!! I have a huge list of things I want... well need to order from Summit. But Christmas and the garage have wiped out all fundage for the time being. I guess my 15x10's, et drags and front runners, shocks and springs, and that roll bar will have to wait till Uncle Sam gives me back my share of taxes.

Cant wait to see those Telstar's in action, and those 28's!!!! I'm going to a 27" tire this summer.

BTW, hows that TH400 going? Keep me posted, cause eventually I'm going to go the same route. Since Ive pretty much taken my car off the road, I see no reason to rebuild the 4L60E when it takes a dump... I'll prolly go to a 3 speed also.

Brian, my bad I got 26" ET streets. This should put me at the top of 3rd gear at the finish line. Like you I'm feeling the money crunch this year. I just sold my baby on e-bay last week , a 69 GTO Judge. This is a very rare car being a White Judge. Need lots of work but matching numbers and a solid body. A guy from Boston bought it and its going straight to NC for paint. I has that car since '85, but I really want to race this season. My trans should be ready this week and RapidMotorSports will be doing the conversion 3rd week in Feburary. Ready for the opening E_town test and tune on March 1st. Hope to run 12.50's with the auto and the Et Streets.

Jim, those new wheels sound sweet, can't wait to see your new setup in action! I've heard that same line a few times too in the last month. I've also heard a lot of, what did you order now from Thunder Racing, and what's this big package from GMPartsdirect Right now I'm waiting on the CSI pump, a 1LE driveshaft and a couple of gaskets I was missing so I can finally get this project back together and running again. I can't wait for spring

BTW, are you selling your other set of skinnies??? I may be interested in them this spring, I don't have the cash for them right now though. Just curious.

Gregg, I'm keeping both sets. I want to run a number of special events in addition to the points run. For the points races I have the ET Streets and Mickey Thompson 28X15. For the special radial tire races I will be using the 315 BFG's and 205-75-15 radials.

James, didn't weight the wheels without tires. Summit price for 26-10.50x15 Et streets is 159.95 + 5.00 non standard package fee. They also charge a 7.95 handling charge per order, shipping is free.
