I'm just guaging interest so far...

April LAN Party

This guy has approached me about helping him out with the website for his LAN party in April. He wants to get the site standing on its own two feet instead of being hosted on planetunreal.com and asked me to help with the appearance part and some other things. It's going to be at the fairgrounds and looks like it'll be pretty big.

My question is this: If I could convince him to have Medal of Honor: Allied Assault in the game lineup, who would come? (Or for that matter, do we have any Battlefield 1942 fans? Because it looks like that game is already in the lineup...) I might also be able to get some kind of group rate at a nearby hotel...

I'm likely not going to get paid alot for doing this site, although he has agreed to pimp my work at the event. So I feel that I can ask for some things like this, but before I do I want to make sure it'll be worthwhile.

 

I only play with people i know.. i always seem to run into that one jackass when its people i dont know

 

Every group has it's jacakss, and if you can't pick them out of the group, chances are it's you!

Then I would see about arranging for it to be just howevermany of us, no unknown jack@sses. Just basically kind of our own space at the party.

 

With the way we were all sniping eachother, I dont forsee that as a problem. We just need to learn to use the team chat option instead of yelling at eachother from across the room.
