Any Java programmers?
Hi guys,
My company is looking to hire a couple new people. We're located in Okemos, MI (east of East Lansing), just off I-96 (exit 110).
We need a couple Java/J2EE developers with a couple years experience. Struts experience is a huge plus. JDO/Kodo and Spring are also big plusses. If anyone here is looking, I can hook you up with an interview.
We also need a QA intern. Basically, if you're good with a web browser, and can read and write bug reports, this job is for you. Some programming background would be great, and it'll help if you know Oracle SQL. The project manager thinks that a Junior/Senior in college in a computer-related degree program would be ideal here.
These are all temporary contract positions, but if you're good, it's a pretty safe bet that they'll offer you a full time job when the contract is up. I signed up for a six-month contract position, and after only one month, they're starting to talk about making me full time.
If you, or anyone you know, would be interested, please reply here, PM me, or whatever. This is a really good opportunity.
Besides, I'm tired of having my mostly-stock Z28 be the fastest car in the parking lot. There's a Saleen Mustang S281 in the lot sometimes, but it's a pre-05 model and I don't think it's supercharged. The next best things are an LT1 Vette, a 330xi, and a Miata. Somebody give me something to appreciate!

Re: Any Java programmers?
Damn, need a job, taking a Java course, already completed a VB .net programming course and a year of programming C++ in HS, competent in mySQL, but that's quite the hike for me.

Re: Any Java programmers?
Would love to, but being 19 and in college it's just not feasible for me at this point. Hope you find someone though. Maybe if you guys paid my gas too I'd be up for the drive.
Actually just got asked to come back to my old position, company's closing but they need someone to stick around for a few weeks and finish stuff up around the office building.
