Talking Any plans for another LAN party? I'm getting a new PC!

I don't go to Q's LAN part for 2 reasons. One, it was my birthday, and I went to vist some family. The 2nd, and main reason was my PC was a huge POS. I finally got sick of my computer, and decided to get a new one. Now I can play some games - just looking for another get together. I'm kinda bummed that I missed the last one (...that and I owe Q $20 )

Anyways, check out this post here for my new PC specs:[/b]
Tell me what you think of this new PC I may get:[/b]

Any dates set?

Milo.

If Jello doesn't host a party then I will, I have a huge basement, plenty of room for people to crash, and a bar

I would love to go to the one on March 1, but I already have plans for that weekend. I should be getting my new video card this week, and the memory upgrade should be here in a couple weeks. This will get me 1.25GB RAM and the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. That should make the games play faster.

I'll host the party if people will show up. I know I live pretty far from most of you, but I drove out to Q's party!

I'm located off I275, just south of I94. It's really easy to get to. I have plenty of room and power, I just need you guys to bring the network stuff, and if ya don't mind Dave, can I borrow your other PC

How about we schdule it for the last Saturday in March? I don't have a calander in front of me so I don't know what the date would be.

Who would come?

Joe

I would be in if I have a place to crash. I'd rather go to someones house that I know than some big LAN party with a bunch of people I dont know. Also, most of those LAN parties were half-day things. If I'm gonna dis-assemble my desk to get my PC out, I want to play for more than that.

Chris, this place in Kazoo is a 24 hr party. You could crash at my place. It just more fun with LOTS of people, we could get a table for just us z-28 guys. Plus Q's buddie is having one up in GR. But you better be a GOOD player cuz some of those guys are on SAW. A VERY good squad, but they cant hang with me.

I was mis-informed then, because I was under the impression that it was a 10am to 10pm party. Oh well, I cant make it anways. I leave for Florida for a week on Friday morning. Thanks for the offer though.

There's plenty of room to crash.
Would you really drive this far Dave?

Good suggestion BTW Dave on the Friday/Saturday thing, who here would do that? Works good for me.
