Cool Anybody racing anywhere Saturday??

First time out for Redbird... gotta see how things work before the NMCA race next weekend at Grand Bend. Would like to meet some of you at a track if any going!

Testing new:
1) NX kit (low HP dosage)
2) Hoosier slicks

Toying with the idea of trying out the 11.50 pills and maybe running F/EFI next weekend. It all depends on Redbirds RPM through the traps with the 4.56 gears.

Yeah Dave... 38 degree's! I'll be wiring in the MSD retard box (shut-up Tom) tomorrow
while installing the new MSD box. Got a set of colder NGK's coming too but won't put them in until next week.

Decided to really put the Hoosiers to the test... MILAN DRAGWAY! You know if they hook there, they'll hook ANYWHERE!

Cool

Bad news/good news... Made 4 runs down the track... 2 hook and goes, two slip and spins!
50%, about the Milan average! Unfortunately for me, one of the hook and goes was first round when I dialed for slip and spin. BREAKOUT!

All runs were minus N2O as wire had came off of throttle activation switch! While this may seem BAD, it was really GOOD. WHY? Redbird was hitting the rev limiter (fuel cutoff) on the
1-2 shift, this is not a good thing ON THE JUICE!

Fuel pressure safety switch to be ordered tomorrow!!

Darn good thing that wire fell off. Once is sometimes all it takes to blow it up.
A quick question for ya Kev. I just got a set of 26-10.50-16 ET streets. What's a good starting point for air pressure?
3.42 gears, 3500 stall (hits really hard), and 3585 race weight.

Start about 18 lbs. Al, that is where I started with the Hoosiers... went down to 16 with them!
