It kind of blows that it is raining - but originally it is Ford FME night - got a bunch of Ford friends that planned on going.

Unhappy I seen a Ford day...

... at ST. Thomas a few years ago. These boyz was out of Toronto
and if you were driving a low 11 second Mushtang, YOU WERE SLOW!

Most were STREET cars in the tens, deep! There are only a few cars on this board now that can compete with them NOW! Tanner, Roman,
Harold, Matt, Rod, Hawk etc...!

So give 'em their due, some will bare azz spank ya!

Too bad - best time there was a Ford focus with a 03 Cobra drivetrain in it. It was only running 12's and 13's

I am sure people on this board could have done better than that.

yeah that focus was inpressive, but the people driving it weren't. They didn't have the correct wheel and tire combo going(unless you consider oversized wheels and low profile tires correct?), and to have that much power and not have line-lock for the six speed so you can due a good burnout. I mean most of the night they were lauching with wet tires!

What were you driving Rockwound? I didnt run my car that night - need new injectors first.

I went over to talk to them for a bit to see what was up and youre right - they were part of a corporation - you would think they would have thought of those things - since money is not an issue there.
- there were a lof of missed shifts and loss of traction - I am sure it could have done better - it was definately funny to see.

I didn't run last night, I have a 2000 SS vert, I was there to see a friend of mine, he was driving a the red lighting from Canada that ran a best of 12.33, and he was disappointed with that. He has a pulley, headers, and chip, and the guys son works for ford engine development so the block is pretty much bullet proof, I think he said they were running 12lbs. of boost.

Yes, I saw your friend while I was there - parked up by the restrooms. I was in the stands - friend of mine with the black lightning. I used to work for Oakville Assembly in Ontario (home of the Lightning).
My car was the Medium Orange 88 IROC

I missed seeing your IROC, but I do remember seeing your friends Lighting I'd say about 20 times going down the track, lol
