Post Anyone running ConvoPro rims, want to do some testing?

I have the 15x7.5 with a 5" bs. I have 26x10.5 ET Street, and same size ET Drag. After I get the 12 bolt in, I would like to experiment with different size tires. If you have the Convo rim & would like to meet at the track & do some experimenting, let me know. This would be after Woodward.

I suspect that I will be needing a larger tire once I am able to spray out of the hole, but would like to confirm that prior to buying new tires. Looking for 27 or 28" tire. Thanks.

Harold,

Did you get the 12 bolt with the 3" long studs? If so I could let you try my 28"x10.5" ET Drags on Weld Prostars (15x8).

I dont have the rear yet, still waiting, but I requested long studs, we'll see when they get here. Would I need spacers for those? I do not have my calipers ground, as they are not needed with the Convo Pros. Are they needed with the Welds you have?

You could either run spacers or grind the calipers. I plan on grinding my calipers as to eliminate a potential shear point.

Thanks Chad, but that wont work for me. I got the Convo so that I wouldn't have to grind the calipers. But if you ever take those off the rim to switch to another tire, then let me know.

3-15+, what size rim & back spacing do you have? Also the tire? Thanks.
