Camaro pricing question

I may be purchasing a 95 Camaro from a friend in DE. The car only needs to be reassembled, he just does not have any interest in the project anymore.

The car is a V6, with 5 speed manual. The paint looks great, with no dings or dents. Never been wrecked. The interior is also near mint. 108,000 miles. Has Sony cd player and 4 new tires. Hardtop, manual windows and mirrors.

Once the car is put back together, how much do you guys think it would be worth in our area?

Another question-on Camaros that came with hubcaps rather than wheels, would the wheels be 15" or 16"?

Pics here: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/tonypepeta1/95camaro/

Thanks,
Dave

Why is it apart? Who will put it back together? Price depends on all that. Steven

The motor is taken apart down to the shortblock....apparently it needed intake gaskets and valve seals(what Ive been told) The car would be fully put back together before I went to sell it. I would be doing all the labor.

Well you have a few things going against you. The first is the timing. It is very hard to sell one of these cars during this time of the year, the second is the milage. 108,000 miles is a lot for a seriesII 3.8. They tend to get noisy, and that may or may not make people shy away. So in my opinion, and I am sure it will be shared by the majority of the board is that 2-3k can be expected with 108,000 miles, I would not expect it to fetch much more. But in the right market (spring/summer) you may be able to get another 500.00 or so on the board. If you try e-bay, you may be able to get more. I suggest you try to sell it via news paper or ebay if you want to snag the higher value.

I see them frequently at auction go for less than 3 grand. I saw a 78,000 mile 87 vette sell for 3800 and it was mint. The used car market is very soft right now.
