So lots of people just chillin in the randazzo parking lot? where do you race? on joy? or on telegraph? Is it really big down there, cuz gratiot will get boring. I just wanna try some new places. Any of you been down to french road? I went down there last year, it was the most cars ive ever seen that were street racing, just a whole airstrip to themselves. bunch of imports and a few v6 pony cars. But no z's or any real muscle down there. Its off of vandyke just south of 8 mile in detroit haha. Anyway gimme a holler if randazzo gunna be big this saturday.

Yeah basically. I guess people used to chill in the parking lot then it stopped a few years back and 2 years ago a few people were gathered at the tiny donut shop across the street...LS1 cars for the most part. Then it grew again across the street and theres upwards of 40 cars on average and sometimes a bunch more. We dont get many ricers but unfortunately they do show up from time to time as do the Dearborn Heights cops. Races are on Plymouth Rd where Outer Drive runs into it which is basically the border of Detroit and Redford. Theres usually 100 or more people too. Dont know if anyone's gathering this weekend or not though.

I was out their tonight in my buddies Nissan Sentra SE-R spec V (phew thats a long title)

Saw a yellow Z06, black 03 Cobra, assorted f-bodies & mustangs of all levels, a white civic with a big turbo (mid 14 range maybe? pulled about 3 cars on the Sentra (15.2-4 1/4 car) by 60), many SRT-4s, a non SRT-4 turbo neon, and of course THE UGLY *** GIRLS THAT ALWAYS CRUISE GRATIOT, so nasty

its not rice, but people do think that because it has a R in its title. The car is a 4 cyl that puts out 175 hp and still runs the quarter in low 15s, not that bad IMO. Also it doesnt have a fart can, big wing, stickers, or unneccesary stripes.

and if ya look at my sig im usually not cruising in a nissan

french road is my stomping ground, i practically live over there from 1-4am on the weekends in the summer. youre right there is alot of rice there, but when the big boys come they come hard. youve prolly seen my car its got a little right fender damage that has been annoying me for the past 6 months, but shes in the shop right now. everytime i cruise gratiot i try to tell people about french rd. b/c its prolly the safest place to street race (i know its kinda a contradiction) b/c there arent any cars coming down side streets or anything, and theres plenty of room to brake after the 1/4 (the stretch is about a mile long). however nobody ever seems to show up, as soon as i say it in detroit people get disinterested...or scared.
