No, I'd prefer that you either butcher, bag and box it up before I get there and hand it to me with the time slip (Option A). If that's not possible then you can just flatten the carcass and I'll drive over the top. My torque arm mount or maybe a set of wheelie bars will scoop it up and I can drag it back to the pits (Option B). I've done Option B before with the car already so my preference is really Option A.

That won't work. Brad will be cooking it on a fire that will be made from race gas and timeslips before the body is even cold. Right there on the spot (or possibly even on the track).

That is...if he even bothers to cook it before he eats it.

It will be my first one. Maybe I can grab another Camaro by then like my wife wants me to do.

I would think it would increase. Friday night might be down, but more people will probably stay Saturday since racing is done so late.

As always, this is an ALL-GM event. If it is was made by General Motors as an American released automobile, then it is invited.

OK, so who wants me to bring out the 170hp of fwd tire burning fury that I like to call my car?

I will refrain from attempting to run this car, due to the fact that with that much raw horsepower, I cannot guarantee that I will have full control of it.

Instead, I choose to be a spectator, like last year, when I had my 290hp TA.

Now, now, you have MONTHS to get ready! Why not pick up a cheap third-gen and run THAT car?

I've seen ém for $1200 in decent enough shape for drag racing.

Any car can enter the grounds, but only a GM car can participate on the track.

In my case, I would not participate. No one wants to see me run a 16.50 @ 79 mph, with a 4.5 60". Of course, I was kidding in my previous post. I don't race this car, nor should I.

Take a look at Chris Snowden's Saturn SL2: She sprays it regularly in order to blaze in a low 14-second, 100 MPH E/T.

I don't mind seeing 16.5 second runs, especially when they have .5xx reaction times, and run within .1 seconds of their dial-in. That's good racing that will make excitement, even when pitted against 12.50 cars.

If I cannot get my new engine done in time for M9, I'll probably be drag racing my warner brothers edition Chevy Venture minivan.
