I wanted to keep my factory cloth seats with my 5pt harness set-up for next summer. Does anyone know a shop in the area that can do something like this to my seats?

Please forgive me for barging in when I can't answer your question, but those pictures just plain scare me. Here is a picture from Simpson's web site showing the proper shoulder restraint angle. I don't see any cross bar on this guy's rollbar anywhere near the proper height to get this angle.

I'm curious. Are you also going to have a seat back brace bolted to your seat?

I think it's a lot safer to just buy a racing seat if you plan on doing any track usage and move away from the stock seat/harness setup.

yeah, that crossbar is too low, brace is no real problem, have them put a bracket in when they open up the seat

I have movable head rests. I didn't know camaro's didn't. My harness goes under(each side) the head rest. It has been teched many times and no issues. Aftermarket seats require the cross brace to touch the seat back.
The cross bar can't be more that 4 inches below the drivers shoulders
