Dyno Tuning ???

Any know of a place close to me that does dyno tuning on LT1's?

Not near toledo, make a trip to Livernois, it will be worth it. Call and ask for Rick, tell him Andy sent you.

Depending on the amount of tuning time needed, usually its $500-$600 anywhere you go.

APE, hmmm nope. APE = problems for me, but they are a shop that tunes too.

I'm going to APE. Even when Livernois is about 5 minutes away.

Ok, whos APE ? and where are they? well livernois said they don't have the softwware to tune an OBDII pcm, can I can't see paying 550.00 to have it tuned.

Might want to search around on the boards to see whats going on at APE, its pretty crazy.

Have you been to APE before?

My car ended up a .6 seconds slower after getting their dyno tune. To make things worse they added a NX wet kit to my car and the car still didn't run as fast as when I took the car in after the 100 shot.

Took it in the car ran 12.01. After the tune 12.6, with the 100 shot, 12.4.

So, after $2,500 for tune and NX kit. I ended up with a car that is .06 slower and $2,500 lighter in the pocket.

Bill, did you figure out what was wrong with your car? was it APE's tuning? I'm curious because I've taken my cat to the old APE (previous owner's) and had a good experience. I think after reading all those other post I'll head to Livornois.
