I have a set of moser 31 spline axles for a 9" in a camaro, firebird, trans am. bearings are pressed on and are 3.8 od. for a early big ford housing end. $175.00 firm, If not sold in 1 week they will go on ebay. Call Scott K. @ (586) 630-1098.

 

Interested in these axles. Are you sure the bearing OD is 3.8" and not 3.15"? I don't think I have ever heard of a 3.8" OD bearing for the big Ford axle housing ends. Also are these axles meant to be a direct bolt in for the Moser Ford 9" 3rd gen housing or were they built to intall in a converted 9" housing? Do you have the bearing retainers (horse shoes)? Hi Mike, sorry you are right they are 3.150, I measured wrong. These are out of my moser 9" in my 1986 camaro stock width. I purchased 35 spline axles and a spool and i did get a new set of retainers but i reused my old ones. If you buy these I will include the newer retainers. thanks Scott K.

 

Hey Scott I'm still interested. How many miles do these axles have on them? What kind of useage have they seen (slicks, etc)? Were you running a spool with these axles or a locker or ?

How much to ship to 53551 and by what means? i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.

The axles have seen about 12,000 miles on them, the bearings are in excelent shape. I had a detroit locker when i first put the axle together. Then got heavy into drag racing, they have seen 900 hp passes going 9.89 at 143mph. I have no studs in them, i put then in the front rotors when i bought my 35 spline axles with 5/8's studs.
The splines look near new they show very little wear for what abuse i have put them through, just trying to be honest not trying to scare you away.
I will get some pics later if you are still interested, and let me know if you need any more axle parts I am a dealer for Moser and can get a housing for less than anyone else. Scott K.
