Flint Tonight
yeah i was 0-2 tonight but I wasn't dissapointed. I raced a slightly modified 5.0 convert and a stock Lt1. I was at the door with the 5.0 the whole way and I was at the *** end of the lt1 with my bumper, so i was pretty impressed with my little bolt ons 305 tbi. I hung out at that Nascar bar on dort hwy at 12:00 and then went to Virgil's place and hung out there until the cops busted it up and on the way home on richfield rd. is where I raced those to cars. It was alright tonight but I didn't get to see one good race but the 2 I had. Oh well, I looked for some of u from the boards but didn't see anyone, heck I barley saw any 4thgen LS1's/LT1's tonight. Mostly muscle,mustangs,v6 4thgens and ricers. 
Was anyone out there and I just missed them or something?

Ok,Eric...lemme get this straight....
At the Stanton event your car went like it was running on 3 cylinders.... then you find and fix a few things and now its running so good?

Have no idea guys. I had 2 other people with me in the car and I was hanging right with that older style 5.0 and the LT1 formula had me by a car length only. It was girls driving it so who knows. 
BTW: We usually shut down around 50-55mph so we didn't go to far.

Not making fun of the V6. Trust me, I know what it feels like to have the weak engine of the fbody. Its just that it looked like a stock V6 firebird and it creamed me at the time and I was just taken by surprise until she told me it was an LT1 sleeper.
Sounds like ur V6 would smoke me anyways if it can keep up with Z28's.
